Knit and Natter
Our friendly Knit and Natter group meet every Friday at Burscough Library. Come along and share knitting tips and patterns while making new friends. No kit? Don't worry. We have knitting supplies so you can get started straight away. All knitters welcome!
Rainhill Forget Me Not Group
A Support group for those with dementia and their friend, relative or carer. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month, 10am-12 noon, in The St Ann`s Centre, View Rd, Rainhill. Activities include jigsaws, games, and light exercise. Refreshments provided. Charge £1 . Next meeting Jan 7th.
150 year Songs of Praise Service
St Mary’s Rufford Church in its current form opened its doors on 11 January 1860. On Saturday 11 January 2020 there is a special Songs of Praise service being held in church to celebrate the church’s 150th anniversary, with special guests including Bishop Philip, Bishop of Blackburn, the Mayor of West Lancashire and local organisations....
