Chorley & District Model Railway Society are back by popular demand with their Big and Little Train Show featuring Christmas themed layouts and a visit from a special little engine! Free event for train enthusiasts young and old.

History of Industry in West Lancashire

To celebrate Lancashire Day local historian Dot Broady-Hawkes will be giving an illustrated talk on the history of industry in the West Lancashire area. The Heritage Trail Group will also be present with information about local heritage walks. Free tickets for this event are available from Ormskirk Library.

Christmas Fayre

For the third year running Lydiate Village Centre will be running their annual Christmas fayre. There will be a number of stalls including homemade crafts, tombola's, raffles, and Santa's grotto (pre-booking is essential). There will be children's crafts and musical entertainment throughout the day.

All Saints Christmas Tree Festival
