Haigh Fireworks

A family friendly firework spectacular featuring more entertainment than ever before. St. Peter’s Pavilion Fireworks

Hindley lights up the sky this Bonfire Night! With a firework display starting at 6:30pm, live entertainment, food and drinks and a funfair, you’re in for a treacly treat. No entry after 6:30pm, £6 per adult and £3 per child. Advance booking recommended at Eventbrite.

Aspull Rugby Club Fireworks

Celebrate Bonfire Night with a bonfire and fireworks display. There will be a bar, a barbecue and sweet stalls! Fireworks start at 7:30pm. Adult entry is £4, children £2.

All your Christmas shopping needs under one roof! Various craft and gift stalls, a Fairtrade stall, local handicrafts and refreshments/light lunches.

Christmas Fundraiser

Attractions include flower arranging by June from Hartleys Garden Centre, a live performance by local vocalist Leah Wallis, Christmas stalls including cake, veg and fancy goods to raise money for St. Thomas the Martyr Church. Tickets are £5 – call Kath McGuire on 01695 721038 to book.

WW1 Remembrance

The Royal British Legion Wigan Branch is hosting a thank you event to commemorate the centenary of the Armistice. The 1940s themed night will feature a hotpot supper, live music and a raffle. Tickets are £5 and can be booked by visiting the Royal British Legion Wigan Branch’s Facebook page.

Appley Bridge Christmas Market

Road to the Armistice Talk

Rebel Women: The Fight for Suffrage in Wigan

Commemorate the centenary of women over 30 getting the vote. A full itinerary of speakers including Helen Pankhurst, granddaughter of Sylvia Pankhurst, are scheduled to appear.
