Big and Little Train Show
Chorley & District Model Railway Society are back by popular demand with their Big and Little Train Show featuring Christmas themed layouts and a visit from a special little engine! Free event for train enthusiasts young and old.
Astley Illuminated 2019

Flowers for Christmas
Monday 25th November, 7.30 pm Maghull and District Flower Club will be holding a Christmas demonstration with Sara Barrow of Goosnargh titled "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". An entertaining evening with seasonal refreshments and raffle prizes of the demonstrated designs along with Christmas Hampers. £7 entrance to non-members.
History of Industry in West Lancashire
To celebrate Lancashire Day local historian Dot Broady-Hawkes will be giving an illustrated talk on the history of industry in the West Lancashire area. The Heritage Trail Group will also be present with information about local heritage walks. Free tickets for this event are available from Ormskirk Library.
St Cuthbert’s Halsall Christmas Fair
Traditional Christmas Fair in St Cuthbert's school hall, New Street, Halsall L39 8RR on Friday 28th November from 15.30 to 19.00. Browse the great variety of stalls from foodstuffs to craft (over 20), games for children, enjoy refreshments, and see Father Christmas in his grotto. Come and join us. Free entry.
