Ladies Night

A unique shopping and pampering evening, with a cheeky glass or two of wine. Over 40 stalls to grab a great gift including beauty, crafts and scents. Tickets £3 including a glass of fizz, available from the school office or on the door. Refreshments available throughout.

WW1 Remembrance

The Royal British Legion Wigan Branch is hosting a thank you event to commemorate the centenary of the Armistice. The 1940s themed night will feature a hotpot supper, live music and a raffle. Tickets are £5 and can be booked by visiting the Royal British Legion Wigan Branch’s Facebook page.

Fun Day Fundraiser

A joint fundraising effort between Rainford in Bloom and CrossRoads invites you for a day of fun. There will be stalls offering bric-a-brac and cakes, a raffle and tombola, and a lunch of soup, sandwiches and cakes.

Adlington Christmas Fair

There are loads of fantastic stalls to browse at Adlington’s indoor Christmas Fair. Find the perfect gifts, meet Freyja the Christmas fairy, and join in with children’s crafts including sand art and glitter tattoos. Free entry.

Appley Bridge Christmas Market

Come and browse a great range of Christmas gifts, join in with some crafts and win great prizes in the tombola and raffle. Stalls include Usborne books, the Body Shop, Christmas wreaths, baby boutique and homemade soaps/bath bombs.

Southport Christmas Lights Switch-On

With a full afternoon and evening of superb family entertainment planned, Southport is set to sparkle with festive fun. Enjoy live children's entertainment throughout the afternoon, meet Santa and his reindeers, enjoy attractions and rides, meet the naughty elves, Grinch and singing crackers and so much more. Lights go on at 5:30pm.

Buckshaw’s Christmas Fair

Learn how to make a professional-looking pin cushion to take home with you. Ideal for anyone with little or no sewing skills. Fabrics provided but you are welcome to bring along your own. Booking required by popping into the library or on Eventbrite.

Rebel Women: The Fight for Suffrage in Wigan

Commemorate the centenary of women over 30 getting the vote. A full itinerary of speakers including Helen Pankhurst, granddaughter of Sylvia Pankhurst, are scheduled to appear. Tickets £12 for anyone living in the Wigan borough or £15 for anyone else. Lunch included. Contact the Museum of Wigan Life to book.
